Phlebotomy Course

This course teaches the fundamentals of drawing blood, a procedure known as venipuncture. Participants will learn the essential steps, including reviewing cardiovascular anatomy, locating a suitable vein in the arm, and practicing proper infection control to safely collect a blood sample. <b>Workshop Objective: </b> To train participants in simple venipuncture (blood draw) techniques. <b>Key Learning Points: </b> • Understanding the cardiovascular system and arm anatomy. • Learning how to identify a safe vein for needle insertion. • Mastering infection control procedures for patient safety.
